By connecting SimStim to Claude, creating a SimStim account, or using any part of the SimStim service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use SimStim.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SimStim, Inc ("SimStim," "we," "us," or "our"). Your use of SimStim is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
SimStim is a connector for Anthropic's Claude AI. Your use of Claude is separately governed by Anthropic's Consumer Terms of Service and Anthropic's Usage Policy. These Terms cover your use of SimStim specifically.
SimStim is an ambient display platform that connects Claude to WiFi-enabled screens via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The service allows you to:
SimStim is currently in early beta. Features may change, and some functionality may be unavailable or modified without notice during this period. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes in advance.

You may not create an account on behalf of another person without authorization, or use SimStim to provide services to others in a way that violates these Terms or Anthropic's policies.
We reserve the right to refuse service, close accounts, or remove access to SimStim at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms or Anthropic's policies.
SimStim operates as a connector in the Anthropic Claude ecosystem. By using SimStim, you agree and represent that:
SimStim warrants to Anthropic and to you that: (a) the SimStim software complies with all applicable laws and regulations; (b) SimStim does not violate Anthropic's Usage Policy or Software Directory Policy; and (c) information provided to Anthropic in connection with the connector marketplace is accurate and up-to-date.
You agree not to use SimStim to:
We reserve the right to investigate and take action — including suspension or termination of your account — for violations of this acceptable use policy.
Ownership: You retain ownership of any content you push to your screens through SimStim. By using SimStim, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, transmit, and display that content solely to provide the service to you.
Data minimization: SimStim collects only the data necessary to operate the display functionality — screen names, URLs, and push history. We do not collect or access the broader content of your Claude conversations. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Your responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring that any content you push to screens complies with applicable law and these Terms. SimStim is a conduit; we are not responsible for the content you choose to display.
Data portability and deletion: You may request an export or deletion of your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how to exercise these rights.
The SimStim name, logo, website, software, and associated materials are the property of SimStim, Inc and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not use SimStim's branding or intellectual property without our written permission.
The SimStim skill library content we create is owned by SimStim. Community-contributed skills remain the property of their contributors; by submitting a skill, contributors grant SimStim a license to distribute it within the platform.
"Claude" and related marks are the property of Anthropic, PBC. SimStim is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic except as a participant in the Claude connector marketplace.
Free tier: SimStim's Free plan (up to 10 screens) is available at no cost and is intended to remain free permanently. We are committed to always maintaining a meaningful free path to the service.
Paid plans: Pro and Enterprise plans are not yet available. When introduced, paid plans will be governed by additional terms presented at the time of purchase, including pricing, billing cycles, and refund policies.
No hidden charges: We will not charge you without your explicit consent. No credit card is required for the Free plan.
Changes to pricing: If we introduce or change paid pricing, we will provide reasonable advance notice to existing users. We will not retroactively charge for features that were previously free without explicit consent.
By you: You may close your SimStim account at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or using the account deletion option in your settings. Upon closure, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
By SimStim: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, Anthropic's policies, or applicable law. We will provide notice where reasonably practicable, except where immediate action is required for security or legal reasons.
Effect of termination: Upon termination, your right to use SimStim ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
Service provided "as is": SimStim is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Beta disclaimer: SimStim is in early beta. Features may be incomplete, unstable, or change without notice. We recommend not relying on SimStim for mission-critical or safety-critical display purposes during the beta period.
Claude dependency: SimStim's core functionality depends on Anthropic's Claude service. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or limitations in Claude's availability or capabilities.
Limitation of liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, SimStim's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to SimStim in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD. In no event shall SimStim be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SimStim and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of SimStim in violation of these Terms; (b) content you push to displays through SimStim; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of SimStim shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Manchester, Vermont, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class action waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution will be conducted on an individual basis and not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email (if you have an account) and by posting a notice on this page with an updated effective date. If you continue to use SimStim after the changes take effect, you accept the revised Terms.
We will not apply material changes retroactively. For changes that materially reduce your rights, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before they take effect.
